SPACE celebrated 10 years of live music in 2018 with its inaugural “Out of Space” series, a full summer of outdoor concerts welcomed by 93XRT in some of the most beloved locations in the City of Evanston. The concerts took place from June 21–Aug. 26 at Canal Shores, an 18-hole golf course first established in Evanston in 1919; and Temperance Beer Co., SPACE’s neighbor one mile west on Dempster since 2013. Summer 2018 culminated with the Big Evanston Block Party at the intersection of Chicago and Dempster. The two-day event featured food from local businesses, beer from Half Acre, and live performances from returning SPACE favorites and nationally touring bands.

Out of Space 2019 took place at Temperance Beer Co. and Canal Shores Golf Course over two weekends in June and August. Thank you to our generous sponsors Northwestern Medicine, Goose Island Beer Co. and Evanston Subaru for making these events possible! Scroll down to learn more about the 2019 series.
